Katherine Garvin dwells in a castle of her own creating and a forest of her own imagination. From the time she could pick up a crayon, she has created stories about anything from girls with wings, to abductions to the moon, her stories usually, but not always, bearing elements of the fantastic. Over the years, what started as a small childhood amusement has grown into an unconquerable beast. Now the author of three published short stories, she writes countless poems and song parodies, all the while swimming neck-deep in her as-yet greatest project, writing and rewriting the novels in her Gap in the Road Trilogy. When not writing, she is likely to be found barefoot, wearing a cloak, and either dancing, playing the violin, or eating dark chocolate.
